New age inspired work from Tokyo label, Kankyō. Soothing melodies and fuzzy delays coming together for the perfect bedtime sounds.

Analogue warmth throughout this release from Cleveland’s Imaginary Softwoods. 


Carlos Ferreira - Everything We Knew Was Wrong
A deeply reflective work from Brazil’s Carlos Ferreira, patching together some crisp digital tones with raw analogue goodness.








Serge Geyzel - As Fallen Leaves

Nostalgic, swelling synths that sound like they’re travelling back in time, layered over softly programmed breaks.


Language - Breakdown Wo! (I’m Having One) (fka boursin’s Broken Megamix) 
 A deep, reflective take on this fantastic 90s house track, dubbing it out to infinity for 13 minutes of ambient breaky bliss.

Slow-mo sci-fi chugger from Texas, appearing as part of a ‘Name Your Price’ compilation of similar styles.


Aleksi Perälä - GAIA 15
Breathtaking soundwork throughout this release from Finland’s Aleksi Perälä. Enchanting melodies and exotic percussion interwoven to guide you through a blissful otherwordly journey. 



Ryuichi Sakamoto - 12

On hearing of Ryuichi Sakamoto’s passing this month, it made sense to include this album in this month’s list. 

A beautifully tragic work with a haunting sense of fragility woven throughout.
